Bullet holes seen in driver’s door and seat – police press release on Cheryl Clarke homicide

PRESS RELEASE - The Criminal Investigations Department is investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of 51 year old, Cheryl Clarke of Bexon Castries.

On Friday, June 26, 2015, about 12:10 a.m. the officers received a report of a shooting incident at the intersection of Broglie and Brazil Street, Castries.

Upon arrival, the officers discovered an abandoned vehicle with what appeared to be a bullet hole in the driver’s door and bullet holes in the driver’s seat.

The officers then proceeded to the Victoria Hospital where they were informed that Clarke sustained multiple gunshot wounds to the body and later succumbed to those injuries.

Investigations are continuing into the matter.
