Police have arrested and charged a man who was wanted in connection with a chopping incident in Dennery late last month.
Duplessis Constantine, alias Pimp Juice, of Gadette, Dennery was arrested and taken before the Vieux Fort court on Friday, Dec. 4 where he was granted bail in the sum of $3,500, cash or suitable surety, for the offense of dangerous harm.
Reports are that on Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2015, between 9:30 a.m. an 10 a.m., the victim, 49-year-old Felix Constantine, also known as Gee Can and Phillip, of Aux Lyon, Dennery was allegedly involved in a dispute/altercation with Duplessis, when he sustained a serious laceration to the neck.
The incident occurred in Gadette, Dennery.
Reliable sources said the incident was drug-related. Both men are reportedly cousins.
Felix has been discharged from hospital but is continuing treatment every two days, according to relatives
