Police are questioning a person of interest in the double homicide of two men whose bodies were found in Bruceville, Vieux Fort on Saturday.
The person was taken into police custody around 1.p.m. Tuesday, Head of the Police Press Relations, Assistant Superintendent, Gregory Alexander told St. Lucia News Online (SNO).
Alexander said it is not clear whether he is one of the shooter(s) but he will be questioned about the incident.
More persons are likely to be called in for questioning as investigation intensifies.
Trent Travis Eugene, alias ‘Jupin’ of Banse Laborie and Clint Felix, alias ‘Black Boy’ of Micoud were discovered dead in Bruceville, Vieux Fort on Saturday, August 6.
One of the two men sustained a gunshot wound to the chest and the other to the head.
Police have been urging members of the public to come forward with any information that they might have about this incident and promised to treat keep it strict confidence.
