PRESS RELEASE – Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of 36 year old; Mervin Francis aka “Vines” of China Town, Marigot.
On Friday, September 23, 2016 about 5:50 a.m. Francis was discovered lying at the side of the Marigot main road with what appeared to be multiple gunshot wounds.
He was pronounced dead by a medical doctor on the scene.
A post mortem is scheduled for Friday, September 23, 2016 at 3:00 p.m.
This is the 21st homicide for 2016.
