PRESS RELEASE – The Royal Saint Lucia Police Force has once again embarked on its annual week of activities dubbed Police week.
Police Week 2016 is observed under the theme “The Community and the Police; A partnership in Action” and runs from November 20 to November 27, 2016.
The RSLPF invite members of the public to come out in large numbers to support the Police Train slated for Saturday, November 12, 2016. The Train starts at the Gros Islet Police Station from 6:00 a.m., goes around the island through the West Coast, and ends at Castries.
The Police Train is an activity initiated by the RSLPF where Police officers are expected to carry the Police Torch from one police station to the next. The highlight of the Police Train is where the officers at the various police stations would give back to members of the public whether it is by way of hampers to less fortunate families, show appreciation to an individual or business place who has supported the police.
