St. Lucia News Online (SNO) has obtained four photos of escaped prisoner Dexter Jn. Baptiste, aka Chucky and Dave of Dennery.
Jn. Baptiste, believed to be in his late 20s to early 30s, sprinted away while being escorted by police officers with other prisoners from a police vehicle to a court house in Vieux Fort after 10 a.m. today.
Reliable sources say he was not handcuffed and was to appear in court this morning as a prosecution witness. He was on remand for another serious offense.
Persons are asked to contact their nearest police station if they see the prisoner.
