Police are investigating the discovery of the lifeless body of a man in Morne Cayenne, Vieux Fort this morning, March 26.
The deceased is an elderly man identified by his alias, ‘Lollipop’.
St. Lucia News Online (SNO) understands that relatives became concerned when the deceased did not return home at the time expected yesterday and his phone rang out without answer.
A search of his garden did not yield results and the police was contacted.
The search continued today and his body was discovered in bushes after 8 a.m. today.
