A search is underway for a car that was taken during an armed robbery at Vigie beach, near the George Charles Airport, last evening, Friday, March 31.
The owner, who prefers to remain anonymous, told St. Lucia News Online that around 9 p.m., he had just finished eating and was washing his hands outside his car when he saw two masked individuals approaching.
He immediately entered his car, but before he could start the vehicle, one of the individuals broke the driver’s side of the window and pointed a gun at him.
The individuals then drove off with his car, a white Toyota Corolla AE 110 (registration number #PE7922), which contained some cash, a cell phone and its charger, and other items.
He was not harmed.
