Another St. Lucian video has gone viral, but this time it is not pornographic.

The video shows a male, fully clothed, standing on a Castries city sidewalk in a pool of blood and bleeding profusely from the penis.

He is surrounded by several people, including a female who declared later in the video that she’s his cousin.

“Wha he, wha he do? What he do?” said a male as he approached the scene.

“They cut the man d— for true …,” another male responded.

“They cut the man w— eh garcon. Awa, awa garcon they cut the man ca— eh garcon.”

The onlookers queried medical treatment for the injured man, but the female said she had already called emergency services.

One of the males then used his mobile phone’s flashlight to check the severity of the man’s wound.

“But check the man bleeding how much garcon,” one stated.

The female remarked that the man “did not have so much blood” when she called the ambulance. In an attempt to convince the males that she had already called for help, the female pointed out that she saw everything and that the man is her cousin – the reason for calling the ambulance.

One of the onlookers state in the video that the man was slashed on his penis by another male.

Eventually, one of the males emphatically recommended tying the man’s penis with a rope to stop the bleeding. The female objected, saying they shouldn’t touch the man until the ambulance arrives.

“… You have a rope? You have to tie that man w— eh…. Garcon you have to tie that… You will bleed to death my brother, that’s a main vein … no he need something to tie it eh,” he stressed.

According to law enforcement sources, the man sustained the wound late Tuesday evening (May 30, 2017) and was picked up ambulance personnel at the William Peter Boulevard in Castries and transported to hospital. He was allegedly seen in Castries the following day (May 31).

Emergency services received the report at 10:28 p.m.

A law enforcement official told St. Lucia News Online (SNO) on condition of anonymity that the young man’s penis was “partially” severed – from a “vein to the top”.

The official stated that the victim appears to mentally unstable.

Regarding is name, age and address, and how he was wounded, the official remarked: “No such information was obtained by the person who received the (emergency) call. The guys were unable to obtain any info from him. He appeared to be a mental patient. No name nor how the incident happened, but he appears to be in his 20s.”

The official said the young man “never spoke a word” when the ambulance services picked him up.

“The only thing I have heard this guy say is ‘yeah boy’ continuously to the folks across the road from (name of business omitted) who always used to trouble him. He would just repeat those words continuously,” the official said

“… We have seen him before. He used to hang around the (location omitted) a few times. The guys told me they saw him out today (Wednesday, May 31, 2017),” the official added.

An eyewitness who claimed to have arrived late on the scene told SNO that the injured man was smiling when the ambulance picked him up.
