Police are investigating two separate reports of rape involving a seven-year-old and a 22-year-old.
Police said a seven-year-old was raped in Gadette, Dennery on Tuesday, but provided no further info.
The incident involving the 22-year-old reportedly occurred in Choiseul on Monday morning.
Reports are that the victim was dragged into bushes by the suspect, who began to sexually assault.
She was reportedly rescued by a passerby who held the suspect, tied him up and alerted the police.
The suspect is currently in police custody.
