(SNO) – Castries was again the scene of a shooting incident.
On Sunday, June 3, 2018, at 8:39 p.m., fire officials in Castries responded to a report of a shooting.
They were directed to upper Bridge Street where they picked up an injured 37-year-old Kim Jules, a resident of Bois d’Orange, Gros Islet.
Jules had sustained a gunshot wound to his leg. He was transported by ambulance to Victoria Hospital in stable condition.
According to sources, Jules was shot in Faux-A-Chaud, Castries and then made his way to Bridge Street. He was reportedly heading to Central Police Station when the ambulance picked him up.
“He fell a few feet away in the road,” the source said.
He was reportedly shot by a known assailant.
No additional information was immediately available.
