(SNO) – No one has been charged in connection with the death of Gregory Philip of New Development, Soufriere, according to sources.
The person who was reportedly in custody has been released pending further investigations.
Philip’s death was confirmed as homicide #15 following a post mortem examination conducted on Monday, June 4, 2018 by Dr. Wayne Felicien that revealed that he died of pulmonary hemorrhage, secondary to neck fracture, police said.
Philip’s death was initially branded a “suspicious death” after police received reports that he fell during a domestic dispute in Cressland, Soufriere on Saturday, June 2, around 9 p.m.
He was pronounced dead at the Etangs Wellness Centre by a medical practitioner, police said.
