A mechanic is lamenting the loss of over $87,000 worth of tools and equipment following a break-in at his 20-foot storage container in Beausejour.
Patrick Noel, who lives in Corinth, told St. Lucia News Online (SNO) that thieves targeted his container between Saturday and about 2 a.m. Monday.
The items missing include a blue Hausefeld air compressor, a pressure washer, Weedeater grass trimmer, a small welding set and an assortment of different mechanical tools.
Most of these tools were used for Noel’s work.
The mechanic said that police have been investigating the matter. No one has been arrested yet.
