Walter was last seen alive on June 26, 2013.
Reliable sources have revealed that the head of Ronnie Walter, who was found dead three weeks ago, was never missing.
“The police always had the head of the victim. This was just a rumour [that the head was missing],” the source said in response to queries from St. Lucia News Online (SNO).
Photos of the deceased, obtained by SNO, showed a headless body. Sources have confirmed that Walter’s head was severed but it was discovered in the same location, the same day.
A post mortem has revealed that Walter died of hemorrhagic shock/respiratory failure as result of incisions to the neck area.
Walter’s partially decomposed body was discovered at about 5:15 p.m. on Sunday, July 7, 2013 behind a playing field opposite the Babonneau Secondary School.
The 20-year-old Cabishe, Babonneau resident went missing on the night of June 26, 2013 when he was reportedly seen boarding a vehicle in Cabishe.
Walter was an employee of the Super J branch on the waterfront in Castries.
No one has been charged for this homicide.
