Danny Theophane
Police have made a breakthrough in the homicide of Danny ‘Cocoy’ Theophane of Conway, Castries.
On Wednesday, July 23, Laurie Phillip, 22, of La Clery, Castries was brought to court in connection with Theophane’s death. He was formally charged on Saturday, July, 19.
Theopane, 19, was shot as he walked in the vicinity of the Soufriere bus stop on Carl Crescent Street at about 11:20 p.m. on Friday, July 11.
He ran and collapsed by the St. Lucia Marketing Board where he died.
A post mortem examination conducted on Theophane’s body on July 15 revealed the teen died of hemorrhagic shock secondary to gunshot wounds.
