A man from southeast St. Lucia and considered “armed and dangerous” is being sought by the Toronto Police Service for attempted murder.
Nerville Ferdinand, 19, of a Toronto address but from Mon Repos, Micoud in St. Lucia, is alleged to have shot a man inside a home in the Bathurst Street and College Street area on Friday, July 18, 2014, the Toronto Police Service stated in a news release.
“It is alleged that he [Ferdinand] was involved in an argument with a man inside the home. The argument escalated to the point where the man produced a handgun from his bag. The man pointed the firearm and shot another man. The man was rushed to hospital by ambulance,” police said in the news release.
The police also cautioned the public not to approach Ferdinand.
“If anyone sees Nerville Ferdinand, do not approach him. Call 9-1-1. He is considered armed and dangerous,” police said.
Ferdinand is described as black, 5’7″, 160 lbs., brown eyes, with a short black afro hairstyle.
