Two men, charged in connection with the fatal shooting of 19-year-old Danny ‘Cocoy’ Theophane of Conway, Castries, appeared in a Castries court today, July 24.
Zane “Tibar” Pierre, 31, of Wilton’s Yard, Castries and 22-year-old Laurie Phillip of La Clery, Castries were remanded at the Bordelais Correctional Facility until October 3, 2014.
Pierre is the alleged leader of a notorious gang in Castries and Phillip is believed to be an associate. Pierre was charged yesterday, July 23 while Phillips was charged last Saturday.
Theopane was shot and killed at about 11:20 p.m. on Friday, July 11.
