Officers attached to the Drug and Special Services Units carried out eradication exercises on two marijuana plantations at Vigier, Micoud on Wednesday, August 28, 2013.
During the exercises, the officers uprooted a total of 1,290 marijuana plants from two plantations, police said in a press release.
“Also, 102 pounds of what appeared to be compressed marijuana were recovered in a wooden hut on one of the plantations,” the release added.
No one was arrested.
