A missing Anse La Raye youth was found dead along the Anse La Raye Beach at around noon today.
Miguel Sealy, 16, went missing at about 8 p.m. on Monday evening, police officials told St. Lucia News Online (SNO).
The police said in a press statement today that Sealy’s mother, Mandy Joseph, made the missing person report at the Anse La Raye Police Station.
Joseph told the police that her teenage son who hails from Massacre, Anse La Raye, left his residence earlier that day about 3 p.m. to spend some time with a family member on the Massacre Beach, Anse La Raye and up to the time of report had not been seen.
A body was discovered on the beach today, which was positively identified as that of Sealy.
It is suspected that the teenager may have drowned.
Investigations are continuing.
