Cocaine
A joint team of law enforcement officers continued the search of the Mari Posa, a vessel intercepted off the Coast of Pigeon Island last Wednesday, and found an additional 96 blocks of cocaine Friday.
The drugs were found in another hidden compartment on the vessel, bringing the total number of parcels seized to 171.
Last Wednesday, two foreign nationals were detained in connection with the find.
The police said charges are expected to be proffered today, for the offences of possession of a controlled drug, possession with the intent to supply a controlled drug and attempt to export a controlled drug.
