For the second time in less than two weeks, a home/restaurant in Zenon, Soufriere has been hit by thieves.
According to Cotney Gangerdine, daughter of the proprietor, the culprit/s struck last night, Dec. 27 taking “’mizzy’ meat” such as ham, shrimps, beef, chicken, ribs, minced meat, as well as meat for dogs, cream cheese, pizza dough, and roti shells, among other items.
“The person/s took even my nail polish and things,” she said.
The Big Stone Restaurant & Bar was also burglarized on Dec. 18. At that time, Gangerdine said they took “expensive rum alone” such as Hennessy, and Johnny Walker Black, Blue, Green and Red.
The apartment is located upstairs the business.
“Because it’s a restaurant and bar and my mom is hardly there, so I guess people taking the chance, she said.
No one has been arrested in connection with the incidents.
Police are investigating.
