PRESS RELEASE – On Sunday, January 8, 2016, during a police operation, at Fond Mange, Marigot, thirty nine (39) year old Yves Rene alias “Nazarene”, was fatally shot.
He was conveyed to the Victoria Hospital where he was pronounced dead by a medical practitioner at 11:52 a.m. A post mortem is scheduled for later today.
Investigations have commenced into this matter under the guidance of the office of the Director of Public Prosecutions. Upon completion of investigations, the file will be submitted to the office of the Director of Public Prosecutions, whereupon a determination will be made as to how to proceed with the matter.
This is the third homicide for the year 2017.
