PRESS RELEASE – Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the deaths of three individuals after a shooting incident in Bois Den, Jacmel.
Police received a report reference to a shooting at Jacmel, about 5:15 p.m. on Sunday, January 8, 2017.
Two individuals, namely Gillan Charles, a thirty seven (37) year old and Dequan Joseph, a sixteen (16) year old both residents of Bois Den, were fatally shot and pronounced dead on the scene.
A third individual, Kyle Richard, also a resident of Bois Den was injured during the incident and later succumbed to his injuries at the Victoria Hospital.
A post mortem is scheduled for Tuesday, January 9, 2016. Investigations are continuing into this matter.
These are the fourth, fifth and sixth homicides for the year 2017.
