Police have caught the man who escaped while being escorted to a court house in Vieux Fort.
Dexter Jn Baptiste, alias ‘Chucky’ and ‘Dave,’ escaped around 10 a.m. Monday (Jan 16.)
Officers from the Vieux Fort Police Station arrested Jn Baptiste at a beach unharmed, around 7:20 a.m. Wednesday.
Jn Baptiste who is facing an indictable offence and assisting the prosecution in a case, was reportedly not handcuffed when he was being taken to the court house.
At least two officers were escorting Jn Baptiste and a few other prisoners when he sprinted off.
