PRESS RELEASE – Police attached to the Criminal Investigations Department received a report reference to a shooting at Rosehill, Castries about 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, January 26, 2017.
Peter Desir, a thirty four (34) year old resident of Pavee, Castries was found in a pickup van with an apparent gunshot injury to the head. He was later pronounced dead on the scene by a medical practitioner.
A post mortem is scheduled for today, Friday January, 27, 2017.
Investigations are continuing into this matter.
This is the tenth homicide for the year 2017.
