The body was discovered just before noon today.
Police are investigating the discovery of a dead body in Malgretoute, Micoud today.
The body of MacArthur Dorleon was discovered in his garden just before noon, police said.
The deceased, who is believed to be in his 50s, was also known as “Macka World” and “Mac Tooth”, according to residents and police sources.
Police told St. Lucia News Online (SNO) that based on early investigations, Dorleon was known to be a “sick man” and who appeared to have “fell and died”.
Photos obtained from SNO show bruises all over Dorleon’s back.
Several residents of Malgretoute also told SNO that the ailing Dorleon hadn’t been seen for “some days”.
“…The guy was already sick so they went to check up on him, and they found him lying on the ground,” one resident said
SNO was told that Dorleon lives in a “tree house”.
Police officials say though the death appears natural based on preliminary investigations, it will be treated as “suspicious”, until a post mortem proves otherwise.
