St. Jude’s Hospital.
Officials at the St. Jude Hospital have confirmed that the institution was robbed at gunpoint early Thursday morning (Mar. 13).
The incident occurred at about 3 a.m. at the hospital’s business office.
Two to three employees were reportedly on duty at the time of the robbery. No one was injured during the heist.
The assailant was said to have gotten away with approximately $1,000. It is unclear whether he was wearing a mask. Staff were left traumatized.
A police report is being sought on the incident and will be published as soon as it becomes available.
