A man has been critically injured as a result of a shooting that occurred around 2:00 this morning, June 10, 2017 in Piat, Grand Riviere, Gros Islet.
Reports are that the victim, who is believed to be in his 20’s, was rushed to hospital via ambulance.
A reliable source said the victim showed no “vital signs” when he was picked up the ambulance personnel.
It is not yet known if medical personnel were able to resuscitate him at the hospital.
The details surrounding the shooting is not yet clear.
