A shooting occurred Wednesday night, Feb. 28, 2018 in Deniere Riviere, Mabouya Valley, Dennery, according to reports reaching St. Lucia News Online (SNO).
Reports are that two brothers from Deniere Riviere sustained gunshot wounds earlier Wednesday night.
One was transported by ambulance to hospital in stable condition with a gunshot wound to the shoulder while the other is lying unresponsive on the ground, feared dead.
Police have cordoned off the scene where a crowd has converged.
Screams and crying can be heard coming from the crowd as police carry out their investigations.
