A fisherman was stabbed in Canaries on Friday afternoon, according to reliable sources.
The victim has been identified as Henzlee James, who is now a patient at St. Jude Hospital.
Emergency officials said that at 5:29 p.m. the Canaries police contacted the Soufriere fire station which transported James to Soufriere Hospital.
The victim was later transferred to St. Jude Hospital.
According to reports, the victim was initially admitted to hospital in critical condition, but his current status is unclear.
